Harry Hachmeister, Matthias Reinmuth: Paradies, Paradies

Harry Hachmeister, born in Leipzig in 1979, lives and works in Leipzig and Berlin. He studied photography at the Academy of Visual Arts and was a master student of Timm Rautert. From 2021 to 2023, Hachmeister was a professor for basic visual arts teaching in Ottersberg. His works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden in 2023, the Hildebrand Collection in 2022, the Neuer Aachener Kunstverein, the new acquisitions of the Sammlung des Bundes, Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig (Solo) and the Peters Messer Collection. In October 2023, the works of Harry Hachmeister were shown in the exhibition ‘Who’s Afraid Of Stardust? Positions of Queer Contemporary Art’ at the Kunsthalle Nürnberg, and in 2024 he had a solo exhibition at the MEWO Kunsthalle in Memmingen. Hachmeister has received numerous awards and scholarships, such as the artist residency at the European Ceramics Work Centre (EKWC) in the Netherlands in 2023. 2025: Between Bridges Residency, Berlin and Villa Aurora, Los Angeles.

Matthias Reinmuth, born in Heilbronn in 1974, lives and works in Berlin. He studied at the Berlin University of the Arts under Georg Baselitz and Dirk van der Meulen, from 2004 as a master student of Georg Baselitz. His works have been shown in numerous solo exhibitions, including at the Museum gegenstandsfreier Kunst Otterndorf in 2021. Matthias Reinmuth’s catalogue ‘Mission’ was published on the occasion of this exhibition. 2020 at the Edward Cella Gallery in Los Angeles, USA and at Bendana Pinel, Paris, France (2020 and 2024). In 2023 he had a solo exhibition at the ASPN Gallery and opened a duo exhibition together with Raffaele Cioffi at the Galleria Monopoli in Milan, Italy.
